OSC is looking for boys and girls from the greater Oakland area. We coach all children from age 6 to 18 years old. OSC offers both recreational soccer in Jack London Youth Soccer League and competitive soccer in CYSA Cal Soccer League as well as NorCal Regional and Premier Leagues. If you are not sure which league is right for you, check with your coach before registering. If your child does not yet have a team, please use the email contacts in the New to Oakland Soccer Club section, to get your child placed appropriately, before registering.

• All scholarships require form completed and signed by parent
• Scholarships are covered by those who pay full price
• For special cases contact Robert Davis at rwdavismail@yahoo.com
• We find a way for every player to play

OSC Payment Plan

• 50 percent paid with initial registration
• Balance paid before start of fall season
• Player passes will not be issued without balance fully paid

* For Sibling Discounts, the first child pays normal registration fees, and additional children pay the normal rate less the discount for the level they are playing.

The minimum cost to the club per player just for registration and insurance is $113 for most leagues, and higher for NorCal Premiere. This does not cover the additional team expenses for referees, practice fields, equipment or participation in tournaments.

Oakland Soccer Club works hard to bring a fun learning experience to every child in our community who wants to participate. For parents who have difficulty making the payment required, we offer financial assistance in the form of allowing for installment payments, or applying for Scholarship assistance. Teams with a number of players needing scholarship assistance (more than three scholarships on a team of 16 players) need to do fund raising activities to help cover the cost to the club of subsidizing these players.

Players and Parents

For all practices and games, each player must have soccer shoes, shin guards and sports water bottle. You will also have to purchase a jersey, shorts and socks to correspond with the team colors. Finally, have great focus, effort and fun!

Parents are asked to do some volunteer work during the season. You may be asked to provide snacks after one of the games also. Kids love it!

Referees are always needed and appreciated. If anyone in your family, 14 or older, is interested in getting some exercise and earning a few dollars while refereeing soccer, please check out our Referees page.
